The Last Story
The Last Story is an action role-playing game developed by Mistwalkerand AQ Interactive, and published by Nintendo for the Wii.
The game had abilities like “gathering skills” which allow the Main character ‘Elza’ to draw enemies attention to buy time to cast his spells. Another ability that was provided to her is called “Focus” and is used to cast fire magic to destroy a bridge with enemies. Pointers show which allies are being targeted at any given time.
The game was given a score of 38/40 on its pre release in Japan. The Last Story topped the charts with over 114,000 units sold.
The Legend of Zelda: The Skyward Sword
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is an action-adventure game for the Wii console and the sixteenth entry in the Legend of Zelda series. The game uses the Wii Motion Plus system for sword-fighting and features a revised remote pointing system used for targeting.
Conduit 2
Conduit 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed by High Voltage Software for the Wii video game console. It is the sequel to The Conduit.
The game uses the “Quantum3” engine for the Wii and the high voltage software, allowing effects such as bump mapping, reflection, refraction and detail mapping to be implemented. Conduit 2 supports a large variety of Wii-add-ons like Motion Plus, Classic controller, PDP Headbanger Headset etc.
Kirby’s Epic Yarn
Kirby’s Epic Yarn, known inJapanas Keito no Kirby is a 2011 platform video game developed for the Wii video game console by Good-Feel and HAL Laboratory, and published by Nintendo.
The game is played with a Wii Remote held to the sideways, different from the other games in the Kirby series. It uses a whip-like ability to attack the enemies and can turn them into a ball of yarn (which can be kicked). Kirby can also transform into other objects like car or dolphin for extra speed or underwater travel among other things.
Xenoblade
Xenoblade Chronicles is a role-playing video game published by Nintendo and developed by Monolith Soft for the Wii console. The game follows a young man named Shulk who yields the energy blade called Xenoblade against the Mechon in order to save the world.
The game has the feeling of freedom to the player as it does not focus on cut scenes and storylines. The game has an open-ended design allowing much of the world to be explored from the very start.
